Pre-Registration Information

VALLIVUE FALCONS LACROSSE CLUB

SPRING 2024 REGISTRATION

Vallivue Lacrosse Club is located here in the Vallivue school district. For the spring of 2024 we will be offering teams for boys & girls grades 1-12. We accept all players within the Vallivue School district along with Caldwell, Marsing, Homedale and local charter schools.

-Teams Include:

Boys: U8, U10, U12, U14

Girls: U8, U10, U12, U14

Mens: High School JV & Varsity

Womens: High School JV & Varsity

-USA Lacrosse Membership Requirement

Vallivue Lacrosse requires all players to have a current USA lacrosse membership in order to participate with us. This membership is from USA lacrosse and insures the player throughout the year not only for Vallivue related activities but also any clinics, camps, or travel club events. During Registration each player will be asked to either update their current membership or create a new one.

-Physical Requirements

Physicals need to be turned in before the first day of practice in order to participate. You email them to

High School (Boys & Girls) – 9th and 11th grade

-Pre Concussion Requirements (High School Players Only) – Included in registration fee

In order to do our best to provide every player a healthy and safe playing experience Vallivue Lacrosse requires a pre-concussion test. It is a very easy and quick online test they do at home. The test will be emailed to the player email on file with registration and will need to be completed before the first day of practice.

-Spirit Packs (Included for all High School Players)

All high school players will receive a spirit pack which includes 4 clothing items. Vallivue Lacrosse is excited to be able to cover a big portion of the cost due to our 2023 fundraising efforts. All high school players will be asked for shirt and pant size during registration. Please do not forget that part.

-Shooter Shirts (High School Players Only) – Included in Fees

-Registration-If you have credit from fundraising, YOU MUST contact Vallivue Lacrosse at vallivuelacrossetreasurer@gmail.com for promo code BEFORE checking out.

-Parent Participation Needed  (Please consider to participate in at least 2 games during the season) – Thank You!

The club runs off of parent volunteer support and participation before, during and after games. Please consider where you can help out and reach out to team parents, board members or watch for our Sign Up Genius that will be posted in email or chat group communications throughout the season. 

-Gear Needed:

Womens/Girls:

Mouth Guard: Cannot be while or clear. Recommend having 2-5 for the season all premolded and with the player for all practices and games. Cannot play without it!

Stick (recommend going to laxID to get stick recommendations) - if new to lax- get a general stick- not specified to attack or defense. 

Goggles or helmet- again- go to laxID and try on goggles. 

Black leggings and compression shorts (no logos, designs, etc. must be entirely black) 

Cleats- most recommend and preferred are soccer cleats. However- can do indoor soccer or softball. Cannot be metal spikes. 

Consideration- lacrosse can be brutally cold. Prepare for the weather- gloves, ear covers, warm pants, hoodies, socks, etc.

Mens/Boys: Helmet (provided by club), New EKG Certified Chest Pad, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Stick, Cleats, Cup/Spandex, Mouth Guard (Cannot be while or clear. Recommend having 2-5 for the season all premolded and with the player for all practices and games. Cannot play without it!)

NOTE: The club has gear to rent for a nominal fee on a first come first serve basis.

MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the Vallivue Falcons Lacrosse Board to manage, serve, and promote player development in the game of lacrosse at the elementary through the high school level in the Vallivue School District. Our goal is to continue to assist the growth of the game of lacrosse in Canyon County; to develop student-athletes of character and integrity who will serve as positive members of the school community and the greater society.
